For the past few days, there were many activities. Last Wednesday, our lab had 

a big barbecue gathering. There were 16 persons attended the barbecue, and 

the most special was there was a new foreign student joined our lab. Therefore, 

we will have more chances to improve our poor English, haha~. The new one is 

from Vietnam and major in Chemical Engineering when she was in college. This 

is her first time to visit Taiwan and I hope she can enjoy the time here. We 

must help each other for the future study in the following days cuz she can't 

understand Chinese at all, oh my god !!

We had a lab safety training course and registration on Thursday and Friday,

respectively, so I met many E-camp friends. I seldom encounter other guys 

cuz our building is far from the main zone of campus and finally I met George,

Vivian (haha, we three are in the same building), Richy, Curtis and Shiou-Wei 

on Friday noon. Yesterday, some of us even risk our lives going to a barbecue 

restaurant (just kidding), since the wind was so strong and the pouring rain was 

beyond imagination. How a terrible typhoon and why won't we have a rest today

haha~~

The new semester starts and so my graduate life does. It will be a tough and busy

time for me cuz I take 4 professional courses and I still have to do experiments.

Oh~~ I hope my advisor could be kind to us, plz ~~
